Title: Technician for Sales Support

Purpose and Responsibilities:

To ensure that customer requirements are properly sized up into technical requirements and eventually into simple but suitable solutions. The technician will be embedded within the sales and larger commercial team to give the necessary technical simplification and delivery of customer solutions. Will drive Digitel's purpose through enhancing connectivity and internet of things (IOTS) - Bridging the digital divide.

Task

Daily activities for the Technician Sales Support

-Daily/weekly plan of customer trainings and demonstrations.

-Daily/Weekly installation and maintenance schedules at various customer premises.

-Identification of new customer needs such as on site surveillance.

-Execute electrical wiring of all tracking units into both movable and immovable assets of the client.

-Installation of key tracking telecommunication units.

- Work with VAS team to develop "Digi" App and ensure its commercialization at all touch points. Use the app to deploy tracking solutions to our corporate clients.

- Install all associated telecom parts to ensure efficient functioning of these units and to the satisfaction of the clients.

- Carry out both preventative and ad hoc maintenance of the units installed .

- Develop over the air connectivity solutions for our customers including installations, maintenance and monitoring.
