Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI)

The United Nations World Food Programme(WFP) in South Sudan invites interested companies with proven track record of relevant experience to submit their Expression of Interest for the provision of the following services.

1) Handling and cleaning services at WFP warehouses in Juba and State Centers Services include loading/offloading of food commodities to/from trucks, re-bagging, re stacking, re-conditioning, daily casual labor service, cleaning warehouse compounds and guest rooms and other facilities.

2) Fumigation and pest control services at WFP/ Cooperating partners warehouses throughout the country.

3) Provision of Customs Clearance (Import/Export) services of WFP/cargo shipment of Nimule, Nadapal and Kaya and any other entry points as designated by the Government of South Sudan.

Warehousing Services, large scale permanent structure warehouse for storage of food and non food items in juba with office facility within the premises. All interested and qualified companies are requested to collect WFP questionaire from the WFP office (on the below address) and submit the filled Questionaire together with a letter of interest, a company profile and supporting documents as indicated below:

A letter of interest

Company's profile (background) including contact details (email, website, address/physical location, telephone, fax numbers).

Information regarding the Company's financial status (independently audited and certified financial statement for the last 3 years, bank statement of account certified by the bank).

Copies of the company's business registration certificates and required license to operate in South Sudan. ( Certificate of Incorporation , Certificate from chamber of commerce, Tax Registration Certificate, Tax Clearance Certificate, Operation license from respective State Authorities.

Provide information on the company's experience in this type of activity. WFP requires copies of reference letters from companies/organization your company provided and/ or is providing similar service. (at least 3)

SPECIFIC DOCUMENTS 

FUMIGATION SERVICES (Additional Documents Required) For fumigation to provide license  from ministry of Agriculture & Environment and approved list of fumigators.

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE SERVICES (Additional Documents Required) For Customs Clearance services the company must provide Customs licence

WAREHOUSING SERVICES (Additional documents required)

Land document or Lease agreement

Closing date of submission of profiles. Not later than 30th June 2022, 12:00 hours The EOI and any supplementary documentation must be submitted in a scaled envelope clearly marked "EOI-SSCO-LOG-2022-02" indicating the type of service the company is interested to provide and addressed to:

As part of the pre-qualification process, WFP may visit the locations of the service providers to asses their capacity as stated on the Questionnaire. Only the pre-qualified service provider would be invited to participate in the Request for Quotations.

WFP reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the Proposals without any obligation to inform the affected applicants of the ground for the acceptance or rejection.
