INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOD)

The United Nations World Food Programme(WFP) in South Sudan invites interested companies with proven track record of relevant experience to submit their Expression of Interest for the provision of the following services.

Provision of road transport services ex Juba to various locations in South Sudan

2.Provision of river barge transport services along the Nile River

3. Provision of river boat transport services along the Nile River and its tributaries

4.Crane (mobile) handling services and container transportation. Services include loading an offloading of containers/prefabs generator sets to/from trucks, re-arranging containers at WFP compound/warehouses/workshop, transportation of containers within Juba and ex Juba to various destinations

SUBMISSION OF EOI

GENERIC DOCUMENTS

All interested companies are requested to provide the following documents for all services Company's profile (background), including contact details (e-mail, website,

listed above:

A letter of interest

address physical location, telephone, fax numbers).

Information regarding the company's financial status (last Independently audited

and certified financial statement for the last 3 years, bank statement of account certified by

the bank)

Copies of the company's business registration certificates and required licenses to operate in South Sudan. (Certificate of Incorporation, Certificate from Chamber of Commerce, Tax Registration Certificate, Tax Clearance Certificate, Operation license from respective State Authorities) Provide information on the company's experience in this type of activity. WFP

requires copies of reference letters from companies/organization your company provided

and or is providing similar service

ROAD TRANSPORT SERVICES (Additional Documents Required)

. For road transport and crane handling services the company must provide logbooks of company owned trucks and road transport licence from Ministry of Transport, Directorate of Road Transport.

RIVER TRANSPORT SERVICES (Additional Documents Required)

For river transport services the company must provide river transport licence each boat barge from Ministry of Transport, Directorate of River Transport. forInformation on the company's experience in this type of activity. WFP require copies of reference letters (at least 3) from companies/organization your company provided and/or is providing similar service. Filled WFP transport questionnaire can be collected from WFP office, from security office at the main gate)

As part of the pre-qualification process, WFP may visit the locations of the service providers to assess their capacity as stated on the Questionnaire. Only the pre-qualified service providers would be invited to participate in the Request for Quotations.

This Invitation for Expression of Interest does not amount to a commitment on the part of the WFP either financially or otherwise, WFP reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the Proposals without any obligation to inform the affected applicants of the ground for the acceptance or rejection
